Quick Start Guide

Everything you need to get the most out of your ProPump, in about two minutes of reading.

Before first use

  • Charge it fully. Plug the included USB cable into the ProPump and a USB power source, and let it charge until the battery indicator shows full.
  • Find your number. Your car's recommended pressure is on the sticker inside the driver's door frame, or in the owner's manual. Use that number, not the maximum printed on the tire.

Topping up a car tire

  1. Remove the valve cap and screw the air hose firmly onto the tire valve.
  2. Turn the ProPump on. The display shows the tire's current pressure.
  3. Choose the car mode and set your target pressure with the + and - buttons.
  4. Press start. ProPump inflates and stops on its own when it reaches your target.
  5. Unscrew the hose quickly and put the valve cap back on.

Check tires when they're cool, before you drive or after the car has been parked for a few hours. Warm tires read higher.

Modes and units

  • Preset modes: car, motorcycle, bicycle and ball. Pick the one that matches what you're inflating, then adjust the target if you need to.
  • Units: the display can show PSI, BAR, kPa or kg/cm². In the US, tire pressure is usually given in PSI.

Using the nozzle adapters

  • Car, motorcycle and most bike tires (Schrader valves) use the hose on its own.
  • Bikes with thin Presta valves need the Presta adapter screwed on first.
  • Sports balls use the needle. Wet the needle slightly before inserting it.
  • Inflatables use the cone nozzle.

Let it rest

ProPump runs for up to 10 to 15 minutes of continuous use on a full charge. After a long session, the body and hose can get warm. Turn it off and let it cool down before running it again. This protects the motor and the battery.

Light

The built-in LED light helps you see the valve at night and can warn other drivers when you're stopped at the roadside.

Battery care

  • Recharge after use, so it's ready next time.
  • If it lives in your glove box, top up the charge every 2 to 3 months.
  • Avoid leaving it in direct sun on a hot dashboard.

If something seems off

  • It stopped before the target: it may need to cool down. Let it rest, then try again.
  • The pressure doesn't rise: check that the hose is screwed fully onto the valve, and that the battery is charged.
  • The reading looks wrong: compare it with a separate tire gauge. Readings while the motor is running can jump slightly; check again after it stops.
